These above two title words have been the inflencueal factor of most of the religions prevailing today on this planet - Earth.
It is on the basis of these two words most of the whole worlds religions are constructed around. The good and the bad. Reward or punishment. The punya and the papa. The truth and the false. The God and the Devil. The swarga or the naraka.
If you do this you get into heaven, if you do like this you get into hell. There is only two entry points for us to choose. Two closed doors of which you are given a choice to open any one. The standing instructions, the cautionary note is given beforehand so that we can decide on our own will which direction to take, which door to be opened and face the consequeses of your action, the Karma factor. Either this or that. Most of the worlds region has been giving humans a choice to opt, heaven or hell, by laying down pros and cons of the same. It is your own choice, whether you want to reach vaikuntum, vishnu pada or the abode of gods or yamaloka, the abode of Yama, the master of death.
You want to be restricted or restrained or you want a free pass, no restrictions now.
If by chance, you choose vaikuntum, you followed the righous path of being truthful throughout your present life and you will rewarded in the afterlife in vaikunta. You forego all kinds of intoxication and temptations in this loka so as to indulge in abudance of the same in vaikunta. Now you have balanced the both.
If by chance, you choose the other door which leads to hell, the yamaloka, the naraka, you indulge in all vices here now in this present world you are in so that you will get a confirmed ticket to Yamaloka after death, the naraka, where you have to pay the price. Here you will be tormeted and tortoured in different conditions so that you admit your sinful doings in your previous loka and later on after rehabilition, you will be given permission to vaikuntum with a warning note. Now too you have balanced the both.
You can forego now and reap later. Your reap now and later admit and forego.
So, the choice is yours, it is up to you. If you want it here now in this loka or later on in paraloka. Anyway you get to know both the aspects but it is the, before or after factor that matters. Present or future. You want eat the apple before death or after death. It is for sure, rest assured, you will not only get the apple but you can eat it too. It is your choice when you want to have the apple. You want to encounter the devil now or later.
Most of the major religions of this world focuses on afterline rather than prolife.
There whole focus is to make you comfortable after your death, afterlife.
