You do not have to go to forest or a secluded mountain like Himalayas to calm your mind and getting enlightenment because once you are back in the midst of people and chaotic lifestyle in the city you are back to square one - confused mind.
You can get Enlightened in your concrete jungle and continue your life wherever your are in Enlightened state.
If your are able to reach the state of enlightenment in crossroads or in a jam, you can stay enlightened all through your life irrespective of your environment or the surroundings you are in. Nothing can alter your level of consciousness. You remain enlightened till you take leave of this world bodily. Enlightenment is not body related phenomenon it is an out of the body experience.
Enlightened individual can give light to persons who are going through dark phases in their life. A person who is entangled in the maze of life, not knowing the way out, an enlightened being will be the light in the end of the tunnel.
An enlightened being is always present in a conscious state. Since he in the present continuous and conscious state, he will be able to perceive the prevalent situation in a very clear perspective and be able to decipher the situation and be able to guide and suggest the most fair way out of it.
Every individual born on this planet is born in an enlightened state. He or she loses her enlightened state after getting lost in the intricacies of this materialistic life. They start thinking that life is a competition and race, he or she is born to enter this competition and win the race by hook or crook. They have been drilled by their parents, relatives, friends and society in general that unless you win you are not accepted in the garden of Eden - the Heaven - The Vaikuntum You are made to think that you cannot reach heavenly abode unless you are a winner. You can only get Enlighted once you are out of this race.
You can only get enlightened if you do not get attached to the thoughtful process of your mind. Unless you become an observer or a witness to your own mind, the possibility of getting enlightened will be a remote possibility.
Life is not a race to win or lose. Life is not there for you to achieve something. Life is more subjective than objective. Life is an experience and ultimately a realization that you are an enlightened individual and nothing less. Realization will take you in the path of enlightenment. Objects of desire will always be the distractors in the path of enlightenment. Remaining calm and observing the ever ending different streams of thoughts drifting through your mind, and not getting attached to any one of them will finally lead you to the path of enlightenment once the streams of thoughts fade and eventually stop altogether and there is calmness and stillness in the mind and now you have reached the space of enlightenment. You have reached the zero point or the starting point in your life where you were born in enlightened state. Waiting patiently is the key to the path of enlightenment.
You have encountered blissfulness many times in your lifetime. Whenever you are tired of doing the mundane things in life and bored to death and stop doing it and laze around suddenly you start getting a pleasant feeling without any reason that is called Blissfulness. Happiness is objects related. Blissfulness is subject related with no reason feeling. When you are tired of trying and give up that is the time you might get this feeling, but instead of enjoying you try to probe and analyze and try to find out the reason for the feeling and you gradually lose it.
Once you are Enlightened Being, no traffic jam or crossroad will be able to alter your state of pure consciousness. You will remain in blissful and blessed state the rest of your life.
You can get into enlightened state irrespective of your color, gender, race, creed, religion, region, occupation or in whatever position you are in your current state of life, it does not matter.
Blissfulness or Enlightenment are one and the same. When you let-go you enter into this zone otherwise not. It is not and never related to man-made religion. It is non-religious and a nature oriented state.
