Do not hold on to life when nature wants to take you back into its fold again. It is the one which brought you in in the first place. You have no say. Allow life to happen, allow death to happen. Let go of everything.
Live consciously and die consciously. Never shy away from talking about death and its process. Life is a process and death is also a process. Generating and degenerating. The one which gets generated has to get degenerated eventually. What has come in has to go out from the same door. Existence brought you in and it takes you back. This process has been happening time immemorial. Entry and exit are part of the package deal called life and death. Life evolving. Death dissolving. Cessation of life - Death.
You cannot be just talking about one part of the show. You need to talk about both the parts, life and death. Ignoring it, or not mentioning it, or not remembering it does not make it go away. It is always hanging like a shadow in your life. Your shadow disappears when you disappear. It appears and disappears with you. Thats it.
We need to start talking about our death freely and openly. We need to prepare for life as well as death in tandem. Both are not different things; one depends on the other. If life happens, death is in waiting to happen.
Life is uncertain, but death is a certainty. We always talk about probabilities and do not give much importance to possibilities. We need to approach life and death point blank.
Don't take life too seriously. After all none of us are getting out alive anyway.
