सूर्य - The Sun

सूर्य - The Sun - The Eternal Source

sūrya

The whole reason for all of us being born on this beautiful planet is because of the only and only one and the whole and sole  - सूर्य - The Sun.

I am able to convey to all of you this information I am supposed to be writing about day in day out is because of only one reason - सूर्य - The Sun.

Our  life source code origin is the Sun

Suryodaya means not just sunrise but also means Sun's grace.  The word daya means grace, compassion, kindness, tenderness, sympathy, and mercy.   In Hinduism, daya is defined as the feeling of empathy towards the suffering of others. In Jainism, daya is the guiding force of non-violence and is considered the basis of the religion.

We are all here because of the grace of the Sun, the eternal source of energy in the form of light and heat. We can call ourselves Suryaputra and Suryavansh, son of the Sun or Solar Dynasty.  All lifeforms are a bundle of energy in different different packages, including ourselves. We are made up of Suns energy and we need his energy day in and day out throughout our lifetime to sustain on this earth.  Whatever we consume in our day to day life whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian (food is food) has to have Suns energy in it without which we cannot survive.  We consume and have to consume Suns energy in different forms, that is it.

I consider my self a Suryaputra and perform my patra (role or character) according to my default role as designated by the Almighty - The Sun.  I cannot and will not deviate from the said path.  It is not of my doing to take any independent decision, I am the decided.  Once I realized about it, I just have submitted or offered my self at its mercy.

My typical daily routine starts with me getting up very early in the morning between 4 to 4.30 am approximately daily before sunrise and be ready to welcome the Sun daily.  Whatever I put across in my blog is not of my own doing.  I cannot claim it to be mine, never can.  I am being used or utilized by the Almighty to convey his message to all.  I am just a broadcaster on his behalf.  I am just acting like his messenger to carry out his message and deliver it in a blog format, that is all. I have to convey it in its purest form without diluting or altering it at any cost for any reason thereof. In the end of the day I pay my gratefulness to the Sun during sunset with full of gratitude.  I thank the almighty Sun with full gratitude to have made me like this.

I am fortunate and the blessed one to be among all the creatures on this earth be able to be in the service of the whole humanity and all others life forms.  Even I was not aware of it and I was as usual one among you all are but a day came in my life where I realized who I am ,what I am, what I have to become and became the designated one by the nature or existence or the Almighty, whatever one might call it.  It made me into like this, my original default state i am supposed to be not anything other than what I am supposed to be and I did not know literally i am going to be like this.  It is purely a natures design and I need to accept and be so with full gratitude.

Since I have transformed my self into my original default state and now I have to function according to my designated role of imparting about what life is all about in its true sense free from misconceptions and superficial lacking depth and solidity.  Any thing I have to say should have substance in it in all its sense.  I have to present the facts as is without any addition, subtraction, dilution, multiplication, or division as to the substantial facts to be.

I have to play out my role responsibly in all aspects of it and I have no job to do other what i am doing now that I have been designated to do.

Spirituality is all about knowing oneself completely and thus paving the way towards becoming an Enlightened Soul or Being in the process.  That is the end or ultimate role to be played out by each one of us on this earth and that is possible only through complete realization process,  Life is in fact only a matter of realization.  It has been happening around us all the time and it has been happening eternally time immemorial and we are a part of the whole, it is just a matter of one realizing it, that is all.  So simple as that.

We are born in the Paradise of God, we have been searching for it all through our life elsewhere for it.  We are already born in it, it is just a matter of realization, that is it.  It is as easy and as simple as that.  Life is simple and we make it complicated.  We can uncomplicate it again and make it simple just by realizing our follies.  It is of our own doing, just undo it and you are on the right track again.

Please get ready to board my plane of Spirituality, which takes off from the land and lands no where in the vicinity flies eternally into the cosmos representing the cycle of life in its true sense.

The final countdown has already begin for boarding the final flight to eternity, please do not delay your self to tap your full untapped internal potential from transforming into an Enlightened Being in this life itself.

विनाश वा अविनाशः - Destruction and Indestructible

विनाश वा अविनाश - Destruction and Indestructible

Vinash Va Avinash

Vinash means destruction, cessation, and annihilation, where as Avinash means indestructible, imperishable, and immortal.

There are subjects and objects which have different qualities existing on this universe.  We can destroy objective things but we cannot destroy subjective things.  Subjects are performer of actions where as objects are receiver of actions.  Matter can be created or destroyed, but cannot be eliminated altogether, it just changes its shape and form, that is all.  It should be either in solid, liquid or in gaseous state, in one form or another, but it will be there.

Avinash means indestructible.  When I say indestructible, I mean that it cannot be split, cut, burned, disintegrated, vanished, broken, erased, deleted, blown up, or otherwise made to not exist at all.  One thing is for sure, something which cannot be destroyed cannot be created.  If it cannot be created then either it doesn't exist or it has always existed.

Immortality is the concept of eternal life.

When we see in a broader sense matter exists and cannot be destroyed as such as it changes its shape and hence remains in a different form altogether, but exists all the time in one form or the other.  So we can conclude that most of the things that we see today has been there eternally time immemorial in one form or the other in the universe.  It gives out a feeling and impression that it has not been created as of recent or recently and it is factually correct.

Life existed in the universe in one form or the other in one planet or the other or may be on multiple planets at the same time but may be in different forms altogether apart from what we assume it to be like.  We are an output or product of nature with limited abilities and capacities.  We cannot think in terms of what nature does in its ambit.  We are just a limited edition of one of its creations with a specific inbuilt program which we need to follow and adopt to.  We have no other option as such.  We just have to humbly accept our being or fate and be so rest of the life and there is nothing wrong in it.  Why think about modifying yourselves when you have not involved in your creation at all.  We are creatures of creation or the existence.  We just need to thank humbly the Almighty for giving us an opportunity to exist in whatever form we are in and try to realize and understand what life is all about.

Life is an opportunity to be lived and to understand about its wonders day in and day out, minute by minute enjoying the glorious journey all through our lifetime or term,  Life is not a thinking matter at all.  It is purely a feeling based present continuous event and we are energy forms with feelings which we need to express, display, and cherish all along our life.

Spirituality is a well proven path for everyone to understand and realize who they really are, what they are, and what they can be, but only when you tread on this path tirelessly. It is always a early bird wins first policy. The sooner you adopt and follow this said path, the better for you and rest of the journey of life will just be an effortless living affair.

सूर्योदय वा ज्ञानोदय - Sunrise and Enlightenment

सूर्योदय वा ज्ञानोदय - Sunrise and Enlightenment

Sūryodaya and Jñānodaya

Rise of the Sun in the early morning is Suryodaya and the great awakening that can happen in your life is Jnanodaya or Enlightenment.  Both the words are light related.  Coming out of ignorance or darkness towards knowing or light is what is called getting enlightened about the facts of life.  When you come to know the truth, then you are an enlightened being.

We are born with eyes to see but unless there is light from the Sun we are as good as blind.  We can visualize ourselves and our surrounding environment only when we have rays of light falling on them.  So, light places an important and significant role throughout our lifetime on this earth.  In fact, life was possible on this planet earth because of optimum light and heat we receive from the eternal source, The Sun.  When there is sunlight, we can visualize things in the right perspective and during the absence of Sun or darkness, we need to reflect on what we had visualized during our daytime.

Getting up early in the morning before sunrise is Suryodaya and is the first step towards reaching the higher consciousness in life.  The day breaks when Sun starts appearing and shining brightly from its horizon.  All birds, insects, and animals which are diurnal in nature will always be ready before Sun rises from the supposed direction of East and shines over the earth giving a relief to all earthly creatures.  We can hear the chirping sounds of the birds and insects way before early in the morning before Sunrise.

We can only learn through keen observation of the environment we are born in and absorbing what we had observed into our system and that is the only way.  Anything and everything should be and will be a firsthand experience to the observer.  The observer and the observed is what determines an individual becoming or transforming into an Enlightened Being.

Man is the only animal who is not in synch with the environment.  When you think about life you are going out of the mainstream natural process.  Your feeling and being is enough without any sort of thinking.  Thinking will make you go out of the present and you miss everything and mess everything.  Involvement of the mind will be a spoilsport in knowing about things and later on transforming yourselves into an Enlightened Being.  Mind will act as a 'spoke in the wheel' to understand the intricate process of life and living.

If you be where you are by being in the present, it will make it easier to understand and experience what life is all about.  It is only through keen observation and later on absorption of everything into your being will make you realize what life truly is.  Truth is always in the present. Only by being a witness to all the happenings inside and outside of yourselves will give you a thorough insight into the process involved in life and living.  Just by being a witness to all the happenings around you, you will gain tremendous knowledge and understanding about the ongoing natural evolutionary process ongoing eternally since time immemorial.

It is up to each and every individual born on this earth whether they want to be stupid individual or transform themselves into an Enlightened Being.  The choice is there in front of everyone of us.  It is at individual discretion, what he/she wants to be and not to be in life.

Spirituality is all about knowing thyself.  It is an intricate internal journey within our own self to know the absolute truth of life and living.  It is a journey towards self discovery.  Unless you know who you are, where you are, what you are, you will not be able to find the real meaning in or for life.

सा विद्या या विमुक्तये - True knowledge leads to liberation

सा विद्या या विमुक्तये

       - True knowledge leads to liberation.

Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye

That is real education which liberates ones from all sorts of hypothesis.  True knowledge has to lead to liberation of the soul from the clutches of the mind.  True knowledge is knowledge of the truth. Unlike false knowledge, which is intellectual knowledge, made up of information and concepts.  Gathering information is knowledge but experiencing what you know is knowing.  A person who has information about each and every thing is an intelligent person.  A person who has experienced practically what he came to know theoretically is a wise being.  An intellect or an intelligent person is just a theory or a book or a knowledge bank, that is all.  He or she does not have any practical experience or exposure about his or her gathered information.

Knowledge is stored in just one part the brain.  Knowing or experience is a whole body experience not of any one part of the body.  If you come to know about something fully then the whole body knows about it thoroughly and has experienced it first hand.   Experiencing something practically  is more important than just to know the information about it theoretically.   Gathering information and storing it in your hard disc, the brain, does not fetch you anything unless you use it and gain experience about its cause and effect and inside-out of everything about it.

An experienced person is much superior in life than an knowledgeable or intelligent person or a person of intellect.  An intellectual is a person who has a lot of knowledge and prefers to think about things on an abstract or theoretical level rather than a practical approach.  An intelligent person lacks self confidence in practical aspect of life.  Self-confidence is an attitude about your skills and abilities.  Only experienced person have absolute self confidence in life.  It is like this, you might have a degree or mastered in some subjects but unless you have experience or exposure about the subject practically you have no value.  You are valued only when you have practical knowledge and experience about the subject.  You will get value only when you are exposed practically in life.

Life is not a theory.  Life is a journey of individual experiences.  It is more about living and experiencing it day in and day out throughout your lifetime or life term.  The more you get or are exposed, the more rich experience you gain out of life.  You can only get wiser through experiences, both good and bad included.  Unless you know both sides of the coin completely you will not become a wise being.  A wise person is more factual rather than theoretical.

If we get carried away by the thought process of the mind, we might become an absent minded person (a wrong phrase) as you are never in the present and you are missing and messing everything in life.  Meditation means absence of mind and stopping the recurrent thoughts coming into our mind.  When the mind does not weave any thoughts or you do not get carried away by the thoughts, you are in a meditative state.  Dhyana - meditation and contemplation.  It also refers to practices that involve deep, focused thinking and reflection, often with the goal of achieving a heightened state of awareness or spiritual connection with the higher being.

If you are not getting liberation from the thought process of your mind then you really need course correction in your life to align for the higher purpose in life.

Spirituality liberates you from mundane life practices with which you always end up as a misfit, dissatisfied and depressed individual.  Spirituality gives you insight into your own being and make you bloom fully in this glorious life where in you fall in love with existence.  It will help you know yourselves fully and completely and gives you insight as to the real force behind your being here on this very earth and it will make you aware of your real purpose in life.  It will direct you towards your higher purpose in life.

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन - Your right is for action alone, never for the results

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन

        - Your right is for action alone, never for the results

Karmanye Vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana

This is a Sanskrit verse from the Bhagavad Gita  It is a message from Lord Krishna to Arjuna.

You have the right to perform your actions, but you are not entitled to the fruits of the actions. You should never be concerned about fruits of labor.  This is a verse which emphasizes the importance of performing one's duty without being attached to the results  It encourages people to focus on their actions and responsibilities, rather than the outcome of it.  The verse also emphasizes the importance of being selfless and not expecting rewards or recognition.

You have a right to “Karma” (actions) but never to any Fruits thereof. You should never be motivated by the results of your actions, nor should there be any attachment in not doing your prescribed activities for any reason thereof.  You have right only to do karma, but you have no right to decide what and when you will get for karma, it is decided by Universal Law of karma.

Just by following this principle can help people cultivate a sense of purpose, responsibility, and inner peace.  It can help people act righteously without concern for success or failure. Life is not a race and it is not at all about winning or losing.  Unless you lose yourselves completely in your work, you will not be winning in this game of life.  Ultimately we get lost and be out of this existence one day or the other, it is just a matter of time.  It is the intention behind your every action that accounts for your well being.

Right intention, right action will lead to right results obviously, but that does not mean that we need to act with expectation.  Accept but do not expect, that should be your motto when you start off your day with any kind of work.  Good things follow good people who are dedicated only towards their work - कर्मयोगी (Karmayogi).

A Karmayogi is a person who performs actions without desire for personal gain or credit. This term comes from the Bhagavad Gita, which describes Karma Yoga as a mental discipline that guides a person's actions. They act without a sense of "I" or "Mine" and for the benefit of others.  They  act with impartiality towards all fellow beings. The main goal of the Karmayogi is to perform rightful actions without being attached to the end results.

A Karmayogi renounces the results of their actions as a spiritual offering to the Almighty.

Spirituality helps you to know yourselves completely and will make you dedicate yourselves completely in the service of whole existence.  Spirituality will help you know your real purpose and the real meaning for your being born on this planet in the first place.  It will make you realize who you are, what you are and what your purpose or what role you are supposed to play out in this game of life.  If you do not know who you are, what is your purpose being born on this earth, your whole life will be wasteful journey and you will die as a unsatisfied soul to be reborn again and again unless and until you understand and realize what life is all about.

What Life is, is ultimately known through realization.

एकान्ते सुखमास्यताम् - Solitude is happiness

एकान्ते सुखमास्यताम् - Solitude is happiness

Ekānte Sukhamāsyatām

We are not alone but we are born alone as a unique and distinct entity with a separate identity and individuality in all aspect and to be the integral part of this whole existence.  Even though we are born as a part and appear apart, we are on the whole, a part of the whole and the whole itself.  We might appear to be separate but we are just like a spoke in the wheel in the cycle of life.  The spoke gives stability and shape to the wheel, but it itself has no stability unless it is part of a wheel.  It bears or shares part of the weight of the wheel but not represent the entire wheel itself.  It plays a significant role in the wheel construction and has its own value and importance being a part in the wheel.  It is one unit in the multiple units in the making of the wheel.  It can say without me the wheel will not have any stability but in turn it itself is not the whole wheel.

We are part of the whole existence and we have got a distinctive role to play, the reason for which we are born here on this earth. If we had no role, we would not have chance at all to visit this beautiful place called the earth in the first place since we would not have existed at all.  We had taken this form, which we need to recognize, we are humans in nature, accept, realize, and be so rest of our lifetime.  We do not have any option to change our identity or destiny, we are in fact designated to be like this, that is all, that is the fate, we need to accept once we attain maturity and build capacity to realize who we are, where we are, what we are, what our inbuilt program is, and where we fit in in this wheel of life.

We are a bundle of energy tightly packed in the form of a humans and all lifeforms are bundles of energy with different and distinct packaging of their own depending upon the number of units they are made up of.  We need to realize and understand that unless our all body parts within and outside of us work in tandem, we will not have unity in our function.  Unless there is union of all body parts within and outside of us playing out their individual part gracefully, there will not be any moment or movement to be part of this existence which is celebrating life in all its glory.  Unless we align ourselves fully we will not be part of the ongoing celebration called life.

The wheel of life is a symbol which represents the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, also known as samsara, the lifecycle of a being.  It is series of stages one organism has to go through throughout its existence on this earth.  We have taken ground or grounded on this earth, which is our base, without which we would not have possibility to exist at all on this planet.

We are born alone and we need to get used to our aloneness and enjoy being alone most part of our life, occasional seeking company of our fellow human beings creating a bond between us to celebrate life and continue to propagate our species as a part of the natural evolutionary process and get going and getting lost in the process over a timeframe or when the time is up for us to depart from this existence.

Loneliness is a feeling of emotional distress, while aloneness is a physical state of being alone.  Loneliness is a feeling of isolation or separation that persists even when others are around.

Solitude is the conscious choice to spend time alone, often for reflection or enjoyment.  The quality or state of being alone or remote from society.  In fact, we can enjoy being alone and be blissful for no reason at all.  Solitude is happiness and you can only feel blessed and blissful only when you are alone for yourselves.  Your blissfulness is not dependent on the other factor, it belongs to you and you alone.  Happiness has the chance to get altered very much and lose that feeling whereas being blissful is the ultimate happiness, which nobody can alter even you yourselves let alone others.

Spirituality can be achieved only in solitude.  It is a personal journey to know oneself.  It helps you to recognize your aloneness because the whole concept of spirituality is to understand, know the spirit that resides deep inside of each and every individual, it is just a matter of realization.  Only a realized being can be blissful, otherwise not.  Only through thorough understanding about our own self will lead to a state of Enlightenment or to be in the Blessed State in this journey of life.

आनंदः अस्ति स्वीकृतिः - Bliss is acceptance

आनंदः अस्ति स्वीकृतिः -  Bliss is acceptance

Anandah Asti Svikrutih

First and foremost thing one needs to do once one becomes mature enough in ones life is to take a break from the mundane life, ones routine life, and reflect on what has happened in one's life up until now and try to make oneself be available in the present and allow the recurrent thought process of ones mind to stop and come clean of thoughts in the mind and start being in the present and experience the reality inside and outside of oneself. Unless you put a full stop to the chattering inside of ones mind, the possibility of reaching the phenomenon of higher plane of consciousness or super consciousness becomes a remote possibility.

Before accepting anything else ore anybody else in ones life, one needs to accept and acknowledge oneself completely without any figment of doubt or imagination in one's mind. One needs to remember that we are body on the whole not just one body part the mind, which always tries to dominate and intrude in every aspect of life and in every other body parts and becomes an excellent example of spoilsport for us to realize. Mind/Brain is the only body part in our whole anatomy which does not get aligned with all other body parts. It is out of tune all the time where as all other body parts work in tandem creating a symphony. All the body parts are closely knit like a fabric with just the brain or mind hanging out separately like a thread from the whole fabric of body.

We are not an image of life or imaginary stuff to be imagined. We need to realize we are flesh and blood and we are 100% real. Unless you accept yourselves being born and being alive on this beautiful planet called Earth, life and living is a remote possibility.

Stop imagining, start realizing, and start existing by accepting ones being wholly. The whole concept of life and living is always in the present context not an imaginary thing to be visualized in the past or future in the realm of time.

It is always easy to move on when one accepts reality. When we accept everything with gratitude, we become part and parcel of existence and evolve out to be a better human being. The existence, being the whole, takes care of the part in its own way. When we appreciate life for no reasons, life starts yielding in abundance. This is nature’s amazing quality. Observing and absorbing life is living life with bliss. When you accept yourself completely you will start existing in blissful life all through your lifetime.

Bliss is acceptance and acceptance is bliss. Blissfulness is not happiness. Happiness is just a glimpse of the greater or the ultimate feeling called Blissfulness. Happiness is just the trailer with the main thing to follow in the due course of time. Happiness is object oriented whereas blissfulness is subject oriented. Happiness is a temporary phenomenon. Blissfulness is a permanent phenomenon. It is like this, when you can feel happy without plus or minus of anything, it is called blissfulness. Blissfulness is neither plus or minus, it is always neutral at zero point. Only a balanced individual can reach the state of Blissfulness or Enlightenment.

We were born naturally, gracefully, and blissfully into this world, we got lost of everything we had already had when we entered the mainstream of our society. We lost our naturality, gracefulness, blissfulness because our society makes us focus on objects of desire and pursue everything that appears beautiful to our eyes and possess it at all cost.

Life is not a race to win or lose. Everyone is a born winner, but they get lost or lose everything when they become a part of our so called civilized, highly developed, and futuristic society which is hardly present in the present frame of time. Our society will keeps us always hungry, thirsty in each and every aspect of our life and never ever getting a feeling or reaching the state of contentment and thus makes us to be on our toes all the time and making life a race against time and making us loser all throughout our life until one exits from life without achieving anything at all as a highly depressed soul.

Spirituality is a science of acquiring in-depth information and insight into our own being. If you do not know who you really are, you fall into the category of anybody or somebody. If you find out who you are spiritually you will have a distinct individual identity of your own which shows of your uniqueness as a natural entity.

विसृजतु वा त्याग - Let Go and Sacrifice

विसृजतु वा त्याग - Let Go and Sacrifice

Visrijatu va Tyāga

Let go is completely different from give up.  Vjsrjnath also means immerse, dissolve, nullify.  Tyaga means sacrifice or renunciation.  Tyaga also means let go, free ourselves from any kind of attachment, objectively.

The words "let go" and "give up" may seem similar, but they have distinct and different meanings.  "letting go" signifies releasing something that is no longer serving you, often with a sense of acceptance and moving forward, while "giving up" implies quitting or ceasing effort due to perceived inability to succeed, often stemming from fear or frustration.  "Let go" is a more positive act of liberation, while "giving up" is like defeat.

There are two aspects in life, one is subjective and the other is the objection.  The one is you and the other.  You vs other, or other than you.  We are subjects.  First we need to understand our own self then the question arises about understanding others.

Life is more subjective than objective.  It appears objective but it really is subjective, revolving around you and you alone.  The whole purpose of we being born here is to first know who we really are.  We have come as unknown and knowing about ourselves should be the main objective in life.  You have to let go of all the objective things you had acquired in your possession up until now and only and only concentrate on your selves.  It appears selfish but that is how it is.  Realizing who we are, what we are, and what our role is in this existence, the purpose behind our coming to this earth is what we really have to pursue in this life to make it a worthwhile life or living the rightful life.

All of us are born with eyes, so we have sight, but unless we have insight and foresight, we cannot get confidence on ourselves or self confidence to pursue life or living.  Unless you renounce objective things you had acquired all through your life and come clean of all this you will not be ready for the spiritual journey of your life to know the real spirit which is deep inside your being.

Understanding oneself will open up the possibility of understanding the whole.  The whole concept of life and living can be understood once you understood about your own self completely.  It starts from you and ends outside of your self.  You will become self less and you become the whole of it.  The river joining the sea and in the process becoming the sea itself.  Becoming one with the Brahma and achieving Moksha, liberation from the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth, and emerging out of your body and merging with the universal soul or universal consciousness also called Brahman.  It is attaining the complete oneness with the divine.

हं ब्रह्मास्मि Aham Brahmasmi is a Sanskrit phrase.  It is the main or central concept in Advaita Vedanta philosophy in Hinduism.   The phrase expresses the idea that the individual self is identical to the ultimate reality, and that one's true essence is part of the universal consciousness.

If you let go of oneself completely then it is possible for one to express I am the absolute or Aham Brahmasmi.  I am one with the whole existence and I am no more a separate entity, I am the existence itself.  I have dissolved my self to become the sea of existence.

Spirituality is the marga towards understanding and realizing about our own self.

अपथबन्धवः - A friend in Need

अपथबन्धवः - A friend In Need

Apathabandhavah

पथ means during the troubled times बन्धवः the relative,  अपथबन्धवः a relative/friend who helps us during the troublesome times

A friend in need is a friend indeed

In Hinduism, Lord Vishnu is called Apathbandava because he is the protector of the universe.  The one who protects us from all adversaries is called Apathbandava.  There are two kinds of beings, one is Rakshasas (रा॑क्षस), the Demon and the other is Rakshaka (रक्षक), the Savior, Protector or The God.  Rakshaka is the one who saves us is considered as God that is whomsoever saves us from our enemy is the rakshaka.  We salute to the one who protects us from all negativity in our life and makes us move towards light that is positiveness.  The other is the negative person called the Rakshasa who creates all kinds of hurdles and checkmates throughout our life and with whom we need to encounter and overcome all the negative situations in life by becoming a Plus Positive Person in life.

The words "sur" and "asur" are Sanskrit words that mean "gods" and "demons" respectively.  Those who helped creation and lived for others were termed as Surs and those who lived for themselves and did nothing for creation were called Asurs. The positive and negative people in our world.

We worship the one who gives us hope and confidence to move ahead in life.  The one who comes to our rescue all the time, the lifeguard.  The guard who is guarding all lifeforms and guides them to safer places during the time of any eventualities.  We always try to remember the one who might rescue or save us from destruction during our rough and tough phases in life.

"Sankata Bandaga Venkataramana" is a Kannada phrase that translates to "When in trouble, remember Lord Venkateshwara"

In the journey of life, we need the company of a multiple companions.  A person or an animal that travels with us or spends a lot of time with us during our lifetime.  We need different companions for different occasions and situations in life.  The one that accompanies another in the journey of life is a co-traveler.  A companion is the one who serves as a friend or partner and is concern about our overall well being.

A real friend is the one who is with us at all times supporting us during happy or sad situations in life, especially the latter one.   We need companions when we are sad, depressed, losing all hopes in life, unable to cope up with the harsh situations or realities of life.  We always keep looking out for friends who can uplift us from our depressed mood and to give us company during rough, tough phases in our journey of life.  We always need someone who can understand our emotions and fulfill our emotional needs in life.

Apathbandava is someone who is there with us throughout in this journey of life understanding our feelings, helping us cope up with our emotional needs, encouraging us during tough phases in our life, accompanying us during difficult times by giving us support and solace at all times.  We are always looking out for someone on whom we can depend on during our low phases in our life.  We also need the company of a friend or friends to share our happiness and be a part of celebrations and to be a part of joyous moments in our life.  Above all we need a life partner or companion with whom we can start a family of our own.

Spirituality is a path to understand and realize our own self.  Unless you know who you really are, you cannot know anybody or anything else in life.  The real journey of life starts from within us.  Unless we accept ourselves we cannot and will not be able to accept anything or anybody else in life.  The peace has to come from within so as to have peace in the outside world. It is always a mirror effect.  Our outside life is a reflection of our inside life.  It all depends on you, how you condition your own self and gain self confidence and later on will be able to face life confidently outside of your being.

It is just a matter of time and effort you put in to know, understand, and realize who you really are and what kind of tremendous capacity you possess within your self which can transform your life and make you to become an Enlightened Being in this life itself.

Aatmagyaan vidya hai

Knowing about our own self is self knowledge.  What we are made up of and what is the essence of our being, the core aspect that is really deep inside in everyone of us.  We will know about our selves only when we go deep into our being completely without any form of withholding.  We have to let go of our own self into the depths of our being.  It is ultimately letting go of our self and become one with the Atma or the soul and become self less.

"Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value”Albert Einstein

Just being born is not enough, you have to really become who you really are.  You need to dive deep into your being and understand and realize the real essence of your being.  The real value is hidden deep inside of every one of us which we need to decipher on our own.

Of all that we want to know in life, knowing about our own self is the supreme knowledge.  It denotes the highest form of understanding and enlightenment, transcending ordinary knowledge.  It is about understanding the highest truths and realities beyond ordinary perception.  It gives insight into the nature of reality and total liberation.  It is knowing about the ultimate truth and liberating ourselves from the cycle of birth and death.

Supreme knowledge represents the highest spiritual understanding that connects individuals to spiritual truths, transcends ignorance, and realizes unity with Brahman, leading to liberation and enlightenment through devotion and righteous living.

Spirituality is an internal journey to really understand our soul which is deeply embedded within our being.  It is to gain self knowledge which in turn transforms us into a wiser being.  The chance is there for every one of us in this life itself and it is up to everyone to grab it and transform ourselves into a wonderful and wise human beings.

अभ्यास वा दुरभ्यासा - Normal Habit and Abnormal Habit

अभ्यास वा दुरभ्यासा - Normal Habit and Abnormal Habit

Abhyasa Va Durabhyasa

All creations of nature are prone to habit-forming and we humans are no exception.  We form good habits intentionally and willfully.  We acquire or form bad habits unintentionally and unwillingly and sometimes forcefully.  Repeated pattern of behaviors form into a habits that can be either good or bad.

भ्यास (Abhyasa) is a Sanskrit word meaning practice or normal habit that aims at achieving a tranquil state of mind.  It is a routine thing what we do usually at a particular time every day in 24-hour time period, like eating at particular time, sleeping at particular time, working at particular time  etc.  The Abhyasa are considered good or bad depending on whether that practice enhances your quality of life or deteriorates your quality of life.

Similarly दुरभ्यासा (Durabhyasa) is again a Sanskrit origin word which means abnormal practice or abnormal habits which is not conducive to your life.  Durabhyasa does not enhances your quality of life but in fact deteriorates your quality of life to a large extent.

We have an inherent quality which makes us habit forming out of anything and everything.  We have a tendency to form habits, it is good in a sense that, it becomes a part of our subconscious mind, we often follow a routine subconsciously and effortlessly.  Usually habits are a sort of subconscious activity we often do routinely, which sometimes is an element of surprise even to ourselves.  As long as our habits, which we have formed over a time period, are enhancing our quality of life and maintaining it at a reasonably better standards is a good and the going also gets good because of those habits.  Our habits allows us to concentrate on other new and challenging aspects in our day-to-day life consciously thereby making the journey of life easy as well as interesting and making us await for every new day in our life to unfold with newer and interesting things in life thereby improving quality of our life significantly.

We do not need to cultivate bad habits.  They are in fact acquired and become part of us without our knowledge or intention and making us realize about it only when it starts disturbing our daily routine and our quality of life deteriorate because of them.  We realize about our bad habits only after it has taken a firm ground within us and starts disturbing and intruding into our already established good habits and then we start taking notice of it only when our quality of life deteriorates over a period of time.

We always need to be vigilant consciously about our habits and trying to make out or differentiate between good and bad aspects in our habits and eliminate and eradicate the bad habits which we had acquired by not allowing it to take firm ground in our being and establish itself permanently within us. This process we need to do throughout our lifetime as long as we are alive on this earth because any sort of laxity in it will lead to situation going out of our hands and we will fall prey to negative elements in life thereby destroying our life completely.  Prevention is better than cure because most of the things can be prevented as most of them does not have a cure.

It is only through abhyasa we can build and mold our true character in this life.  Character of every individual reflects their ability and capacity they possess within themselves making them and turning them into a wise being.   Everybody's character gets reflected in their capacity they have built overtime and the experiences they have acquired throughout their life in dealing with any situations in life with ease.  Good habits makes better and wiser being.

Spirituality is a path to understand and makes us realize our true self and thus helps us in building or molding our character and making us into a wiser beings.  It is only through thorough and in-depth understanding about our true self which in turn helps us to transform into a better and wiser human being.  Character building with good habits is the key to transform ourselves into a better individual and better human being.

आकर्षणं वा विक्षेपः - Attraction and Distraction

आकर्षणं वा विक्षेपः - Attraction and Distraction

Akarshanam Va Vikshepah

कर्षणं (Akarshanam) means attraction and you are enchanted towards an object and you start desiring it and may want to possess it at any cost.

विक्षेपः (Vikshepah) means distraction and which also means mental wandering wherein you are not able to concentrate on your current task properly.  You are not able to concentrate on what you are doing currently since your mind is wandering off to some other topics which is not relevant to what you are doing in the present.

Both the words, attraction and distraction can lead you into a negative outcomes because of your action and the situation might turn out to be of disastrous consequences.  It can cause a serious damage to your quality of life and living. Unless our concentration levels are high towards our objectives or goals, we can easily get distracted towards some irrelevant things which might hinder us in achieving our objectives or goals which we had intended to.

Attraction seems to be more positive, in the sense that it gives an impression of great things ahead if we possess our objects of attraction or desire.  We feel that we might become happy if we can obtain the objects we are attracted to and desire to have them and become a part of us.

The One thing we need to understand and realize that objects of desire can only give you fleeting happiness or temporary happiness but not happiness which is of permanent in nature.  Any objects of desire are projected happiness or virtual happiness but not a true happiness.  You do not get a real sense of satisfaction or contentment by having it in your possession.

Beauty is always in the eyes of the beholder who is viewing it so it implies that everything is beautiful and nothing is ugly.  Looking at things that appears beautiful to the eyes of the viewer is good but the problem arises when we start desiring to have beautiful things in our possession.  We should always remember that we should always relish enjoying beautiful things by viewing it from far off rather than possessing it near to us.  Beauty is always a distant phenomenon not when it is very near you.

There are two aspects in our life, one is subjective and other is objective.  We are the subjects and all others, other than us, are objects.  We being subjective, we need to learn to concentrate more on the subject that is ourselves rather than anything else in life which are objective in nature.  Objectiveness is something not part of you, it is outside of you, which is not in our control.  We being subjective, we need to understand our nature, our program, and align with it to make our journey of life a pleasant experience.

Spirituality helps us to know and understand about the subjective part of our personality.  Understanding about ourselves is Spirituality.  We need to know who we are, why we are, what we are made up of, and what our role is in this whole setting or environment.  Spirituality will help you to know and realize your core essential being.

Spirituality is an eye or an opening inside of your own being to know or see your true spirit and be with it.  It is completely different world deep inside everyone of us.  The outside world is what you see or visible to your eyes.  The inside world is what you can experience when you close your eyes and go deep inside your being to reach the core point to know and realize the true essence of your being.

आत्मदीप: भव - Be your own light

आत्मदीप: भव - Be your own light

Aatma Deepo Bhava

This phrase or quote is very tremendous and very impactful in all aspects.

आत्मदीप: भव - Be your own light.  In life, unless you remove your darkness by lighting your own light and know you true self and realize the real purpose of you being born here on this earth, you will be thirsty all the time, groping in the dark, not knowing where to go, what to do, what is happening with and in your life.

If you really want to transform and change your life you really need to come out of the darkness or ignorance of not knowing the truth about your own self and everything else about nature and environment you are born in.  It is only out of thorough understanding you come to fully realize that you are a part of the whole show called the nature or existence and since it has brought you into this world in the first place, it takes care of you in all aspect and you just need to let go of your self and allow things to happen according to natures program.

Even though we are born fully with all body parts, it takes some time for all body  parts to function fully according to its set program and attain coordination among themselves to perform any task with ease and with least effort.

All creations of nature are complete in all aspects but it has to depend on the environment, the Sun, the water, the plants, the animals and all the elements and things around it in the environment it is born in to really survive and exist on this earth.  The other aspect is very crucial for our sustenance.  For example, even though we have fully functional eyes, unless there is light, we are as good as blind.  Unless there is light, you cannot put your eyes to use to see things in clear perspective.  In the same way every thing is like that in this whole setting of environment.  It is the combination of things, internal and external, which will have a completion effect in all aspect of life and living.

We alone are not enough, we are always dependent on the other factors for our sustenance on this earth. It is like this, we are one half and environment is the other half and the combination of both will make it full and gives some meaning to our existence.

Spirituality is a proven path to really know our true self.  Unless you know who you really are, you will not know the real purpose of your being born here on this planet and what role you are designated to play in this beautiful show of celebration of life which you are a part of, inevitably.

|| परोपकारार्थम इदं शरीरम || - This Body is For The Welfare of Others

|| परोपकारार्थम इदं शरीरम ||

                            - This Body is For The Welfare of Others

Paropakaram Artham Idam Shareeram

The phrase “Paropakārārthaṃ Idaṃ Shareeraṃ” means ‘this body is for the welfare of others’. It comes from a Subhashitas.  A सुभाषित (Subhasita) is a Sanskrit term that translates to “well-spoken” or “wise saying”  Subhashitas are known for their inherent moral and ethical advice.  Subhashitas is an extensive collection of wise sayings in Sanskrit.

We are born into this beautiful world out of love between two people.  We are an output of love, so love should be and must be the foremost qualities we need to possess within ourselves and we need to share love with each and every people and in fact with each and every lifeforms on this earth.  Love is nothing but building a bond with others through a 'let go' nature, without any expectations.  Life is more about giving than anything else.  Giving without any consideration.  Giving without any restrictions.

We are not born here to mint money and become rich at any cost.  Making money in whatever we do is a childish attitude and not a mature persons nature.  We should understand that we are an organism in a human form and once you realize who we really are, we need to stick to our inbuild preset program and continue our journey of life by helping others who are really in need of our service to mitigate their sufferings in the current situations in life for whatever reason and take everybody along with us in this journey of life and try to make it as much pleasant experience as possible.

We have to realize that looking after our needs is not the sole intention of us being born here on this earth. We need to understand that we have tremendous unutilized and under utilized capacities within us with which we can be of immense help to so many people around us in this journey of life, which can help them to cope up with situations in life and smoothen their life's journey as much as possible.

ॐ सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः

Om Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinaha is a popular Sanskrit prayer and mantra that translates to "May All Beings Be at Peace".

We are not just born here on this earth to just concentrate on our own self, but to be self less and serve others as much as possible.

There is a wise saying in Kannada language "ಜನರ ಸೇವೆಯೇ ಜನಾರ್ಧನ ಸೇವೆJanara Seve Janardhana Seve, meaning serving people is like serving god not the other way around.

The best way to find your true self is to lose your self in the service of others.

Spirituality is the best way to find your true self.  It is a proven and time tested methodology to know your core essence, deciphering and understanding your preset inbuild program you are born with already.  You and I and everybody else have an inbuilt program within us with which we need to align ourselves completely, there is no other go, this is it.  The whole idea of we being born here on this earth is to realize what our true program is and follow it without any element of doubt and obtain salvation, मोक्षः mokshah at the earliest point in our journey of life to break free of our selves from this cycle of birth, death, and rebirth of life eternally.

लुप्तः तथा प्राप्तः - Lost & Found

लुप्तः  तथाप्राप्तः  - Lost & Found

Luptah Tatha Praptah

The title suggest certainly that you had lost something which was in your possession and now you have found it and it is back in your possession.  It appears more to be an object or objective thing, which you probably lost it in your life one time or the other and may be found it later on in your lifetime.

Here I am taking about losing ourselves in this objective and materialistic fast world in the process of achieving our objectives or dreams which we chase all through our lifetime thinking that achieving that objective or dream will give us permanent satisfaction in our life.

Chasing the thought process of our mind and getting caught in the web of thoughts will certainly and ultimately drag us and gets us caught in its web and makes us its bonded labor from where we cannot break the bond or escape to set ourselves free of the bondage of the mind's thought process. Mind wants to keep us captive in its grip so that it can keep us running all the time in our life trying to chase one dream after another, from one carrot after another, till we get exhausted of our entire life's energy meeting our ultimate untimely death and depart from this world dissatisfied, unfulfilled, unhappy, and bewildered as to what happened in our life.

Being focused on objects of desire throughout your life is like keeping you thirsty throughout your lifetime without fully quenching your thirst and become so desperate to the extent of getting suicidal thoughts of taking our own life unable to bear with the frustrations of life.  We humans have a tendency to acquire anything that is visible to our eye especially if it appears beautiful.  We want to exclusively acquire and possess things that we often desire in our life and this goes on throughout our lifetime.  Desiring objective things and getting them into our possession is a childish obsession which we humans continue in spite of attaining physical and mental maturity in all aspects in our life.

We being subject, should focus more subjectively, that is on ourselves, rather than on something other than us, objectively.  We need to concentrate fully on understanding our psyche, our inner soul and try to decipher our core essence and our inbuilt preset program which we already have within each of us.  Unless we come to know who we are completely from within us, we will not get satisfaction in our lifetime needing to be reborn once again on this planet or some other where life is a possibility.

Spirituality helps us to know our own self completely.  It is a journey towards understanding our core essence which is deep inside each and every one of us, in our being.  Once you understand your own self completely and fully and get contentment in life then your external journey of life will be an easy and smooth affair.  You will be so attached and focused within yourselves that it will make it easy to undertake the external journey of physical life.  The external life will be a child's play once you know inside-out of your inner being.
