This mantra 'Annadata Sukhi Bhava' has to be and should be uttered before and after partaking food daily in our life. Food enhances our life to move forward to go to the next day. We become what we eat and consuming the healthy food will always help in maintaining our body and mind in a healthy setting. Health is wealth and no other wealth is greater than health. All the money in the world will not bring back your health. Money and health is not related. If you are healthy you can posses all the wealth in life. Being wealthy and having all the money in the world, will not get back your health. The more you pursue and chase behind acquiring wealth the more you might neglect your health in the process. Being healthy is much wiser to being wealthy in life.
The first and foremost priority in life is the kind of food we eat which will sustain our life to exist till our lifetime healthily. Food not only gives us energy and nourishes our life and food also acts as a medicine which corrects most of the illness within us.
We should always be grateful to people who grow our food, cook food, and provide it the hungry souls throughout their lives. We should be concentrating on the kind of food we partake in our daily life and each individual should understand each and every aspect of food they eat and they should consume the kind of foods which they can digest it easily and excrete it within 24 hours of their intake without residuals remaining in our body. You will be healthy as long as you digest your food completely. It is the undigested or indigestible food which makes you sick with illness. Good food leads to good health. A provider of food is not only satisfying your hunger he is also enhancing your life to sustain and go to the next day. Food is the fuel we need to keep our body running with energy without a break in our lifetime.
Anything in moderation is conducive to overall health. Anything in excess or lack of will lead to imbalance in health. Being healthy reflects you are a balanced individual. You need to eat the kind of food which gives you positive energy and makes your life positive throughout your life. If you are healthy and fit, you can undertake any kind of work with ease without getting fatigued easily. It is the kind of energy you possess within yourself which will help you sustain yourself longer in any kind of situations in life. Food is directly related to the energy produced within yourselves.
The food we eat will help in keeping the agni, the digestive fire, burning inside our stomach optimally without getting it extinguished. According to the science of life, a person with healthy agni, is gifted with health and longevity. A regulated agni enables to optimize the functions of the body and it helps feel strong, improves the immune system and overall health and energy levels.
According to Ayurveda 'roga sarve api mandagni' means all disorders are caused by imbalance of agni, the digestive fire. We have often heard from our elders that you should have digestion in such a way that you should be able to digest the stone also. It does not mean you eat stone but it means your digestion should be strong enough to digest anything you consume.
Spirituality is a path which helps you to know your true self and have balanced life. Unless your body and mind is balanced you will not feel contended in life. Spirituality will guide you to become a balanced individual in all aspect. It is a journey inside of your own self. Unless you know who you are you will not get self confidence to face life and understand every aspect of life and living thoroughly.
