Sama Dhana Behda Danda - the four upayas of Hindu Diplomacy

Sama Dana Behda Danda - the four upayas of Hindu Diplomacy

We Bharatiyas are fortunate to have a great heritage and linage in our motherland of vedic scholars, rishis, mukkoti devatas (33 crore gods) along with the great scriptures and epics with Puranas, Mahabharata's, Ramayana's, Upanishads having guided our life, building our country and character/avatars of each individual to deal with any kind of situations arising in life.

Our great polymath, stateman, philosopher and Acharya Purusha Chanakya/Kautilya who wrote the classic Arthashastra and also wrote a collection of aphorisms(statement of scientific principles), Chanakya Neeti (Lessons for leadership and Life) in which he has written Sama Dhana Behda Dhanda - the four upayas of Hindu diplomacy in dealing with his adversaries, the enemies.  The four guiding principles of diplomacy, a skill in dealing with people without offending or upsetting them.  Conciliation, gifts, rupture and force are the four upayas of right diplomacy.

The Chanakya Neeti deals with the truthful principles which are tried and tested over the millenniums which needs to be incorporated in our life in the current scenario to deal with any situations in our day-to-day living and make journey of life a pleasant and wonderful experience.

We are fortunate enough to already have a collection of books and ancient scriptures to guide our life and lead a proper and truthful life.

Spirituality is a internal and integral marga or path of discovering the self and merging with the Universal Spirit or Para Brahma - the creator, sustainer, and destroyer of all life.  It is a journey of individual soul merging with the universal soul - the eternal spirit.  It is a personal and internal journey in search of our souls - the spiritual part of every human being.  We are born in a physical form and we need to find the spiritual form of our being and merge with it and align with the universal energy ultimately.

The physicality is 50% and the other half is Spirituality 50%.  Unless you accept yourselves as you are physically and understand the spirit which is residing inside of yourselves you will not become 100% human being.  Just being born is not enough unless you become one with it.

By embracing Spirituality you are embracing life and continue your journey in life in the right direction.

Celebrate Life by becoming Spiritual
