Satyameva Jayate - truth alone triumphs

Since the beginning of our life we have been taught to say the truth and nothing but the truth.  But as we grew up when we stepped outside of our house and started mingling with the crowd we realized that people are so immersed in their hypothetical life that they are not ready to listen to the truth let alone speak of it.  We have been hearing the phrase a number of times that 'Honesty is best policy', but we find it very difficult to implement this policy everywhere in our day to day life and with everybody and in every situations.  Every person is living in his dream world by day dreaming.  They do not like to be conscious in their day to day life and obviously things tend to go wrong when you are not in the present.  Being in the present is being truthful in life.

Satyameva Jayate meaning "Truth alone triumphs"  is a mantra from the ancient Indian scripture Mundaka Upanishad. We are born in the land of Bharat with innumerable ancient scriptures like Upanishads, Vedas, and Puranas which gives great insight into life and living as it lays down a specified path which when followed will lead to our overall spiritual growth and will help to live a contended life.  In spite of all this, we find our modern society to be in a state of chaos and fragmentation, as a result of our collective disconnection from the deeper aspects of our psyches and the larger collective unconsciousness that governs our behavior in our society.

Over a period of time as we have continued to live on this earth we got somehow disconnected from our true nature of being natural and feel discontent about life and living.  We should realize that we have deviated from truth and modified our behavior and character to such an extent which is not suitable and not aligning with our natural environment as it was when we arrived on this earth by being born here  It appears as if we have taken a pledge to change the natural setting we inherited upon our arrival on this very earth.  We have become the cause for our own destruction.  We are not only destroying nature but also making sure that nothing survives on this planet.

Truth represents healthiness and falsehood represents sickness. Leading a life with false narratives leads to sickness as a consequence.

Being truthful leads to healthy state of body and mind.  Falsehood leads to deterioration in the quality of our life and being.  Being truthful means being life positive.  Truth remains for ever where as falsehood is a temporary phase till it is exposed and truth supersedes all falseness. Leading a truthful life is the most difficult thing in this current world full of false narratives. It is the negative things which tries to dominate and establish in a more aggressive way even though it does not have substance to sustain for too long a period of time.

To lead and live a truthful life we need a lot of grit and determination since there will be a lot of opposition from all quarters in this false and negative narrative of environment we have to encounter day in and day out in our life. Ultimately Truth wins in all kinds of situations. Truth has the capacity to dissolve the falsehood of any proportions.

If you want to be truthful you should be prepared to face the consequences, Truth and Consequences. Truth comes with resulting consequences.  Truth is the bitter pill you have swallow to lead a sweet life as a consequences of it. Being truthful is the integral part behind character building of a human being.  Truth results in tremendous consequences of unimaginable magnitude. Truth is the ultimate power which helps shaping our integral character to elevate our being to an enlightened state.

Spirituality will help you to discover yourself and be your true self.  Being truthful will lead to Enlightenment.  Light is the reflection of truthfulness, darkness is the reflection of falseness.  You cannot believe which cannot be seen in darkness unless there is a light shown to dispel the darkness and reveal the true state of affairs.

Satyameva Jayate - truth alone triumphs in the long run.  Only truth can prevail and where there is truth there can be no element of falseness.
