Paropakaram Artham Idam Shareeram
- The body is given for doing good to others.
This is an ancient Sanskrit shloka that means 'Our body is meant for helping others without expecting anything in return'. This life is to help others.
It is out of helping others you help yourselves. Your satisfaction depends on others satisfaction. We just do not live for ourselves, we live for others. When we are brought into this world by others then we need to live for them as well as ourselves. Life is interdependent, not independent at all. We have to realize that we live in a network and we are a part of the web called humanity and nature. Humanity is the human race which includes everyone on this earth. Caring and sharing for others is what signifies the quality of being human, the nature and character of an individual.
Unless you are fit and able, you will not be able to take care of others in life. We are all co-travelers in this journey of life and we need to realize that we need to get along with everybody irrespective of caste, creed, religion, region etc. We need company and we have to be in a company to get along in this journey of life. We need to first ease our life and then try to ease others life and make the journey of life a pleasant and cherishing experience. When you have the right kind of company time flies by and you have already reached your destination before realizing it, before time.
Spirituality is a path for self realization. Since we are already existing on this planet we need to acknowledge it by realizing and understanding what we are and who we are. We are what we are and we need to know what we are. We need to know the true nature of our own self and be so without altering it. We need to know our true self for which you need to take the inward journey to understand the core essence of your self. Knowing our true self will make it easy to know anybody else. We are all the same with different temperament and different frequencies in life. It is the character you build and the behaviors you adopt in life which reflects in your personality.
Every one has the capacity but it is under used. It is the question of realizing ones own underlying and inherent capacities and use it for our own benefit. It is just a matter of time and your time limit is within your lifetime. The sooner you realize the better for rest of the journey of life.
Let us take a Sankalp, a firm resolve, to know our true self and our true potential and use it to the full extent and become a complete human being for our own enrichment and finally for the benefit of others.
Realization - Transformation - Celebration
