आत्मा अन्वेषणम् - Soul Searching
Aatma Anveshanam
" Soul searching" in Sanskrit can be translated as "आत्मनिरीक्षणम्" (aatmanirīkṣaṇam), which literally means "examination of the self" or " introspection of the soul.". Aatman means soul and niriksanam means scrutiny, Soul Scrutiny.
Soul-searching refers to a penetrating examination of your own beliefs and motives. Jīvātmā (जीवात्मा) refers to Jīva, the living being, or spirit soul; the eternal, individual soul who, in the conditioned state of material existence, assumes a material body in any of innumerable species of life. The vital principle or spirit; that spiritual essence which renders bodies susceptible of motion or sensation.
We are literally encapsulated in this body of ours and we need to realize that the outer body and the inner essence, the soul, is completely different and we need to realize and accept the fact that the essence of everything on this earth is same and the outer covering or the body differs from one another. We are all one and the same as far as the inner essence is concerned and we have been packed into different brands and containers and different size and shapes for variety in life. Just because we look different outside does not mean we are different deep inside of us.
Every lifeforms has something ticking deep inside their being and the heart beat is same in all creatures of this universe and it is no different from one another. We have the pulse which keeps ticking inside everyone of us and it ticks in the same frequency. The whole cosmos is in perpetual motion and we being the inherent creations of it we are also moving constantly beyond time and space. There is nothing in this universe that is constant and everything is on the move. Every cosmotic creations are rotating and revolving around its own and overall axis of the cosmos. Everything is in a sort of cyclic in nature and nothing can be of any other imagined shape at all.
The existence is always in the present continuous state. Unless we align with the cosmotic alignment, we keep missing the bus of life all the time and every time we miss to align with it. We need to go with the universal pulse, that is, we need to align our individual pulse with the universal pulse so as to make the journey of life an effortless one. Journey of life will be effort based only for those who are inexperienced and who do not get aligned with universal principle or laws of nature. Actually, journey of life is supposed to be effortless one for experienced being, if you fall in line and get aligned with the laws of nature and go with the flow by let go of your own self. Unless you become the part of the symphony of life, you will remain as a spoke in the wheel all through your life and have to wait for your rebirth in this cyclic lifecycle to ultimately realize and become natural by aligning with the natures law.
Spirituality is a pathless path, that means, you do not tread on the existing path, you create your own path to pursue to realize your inner self. Self realization is the only way to reach the pinnacle of existence to transform oneself into an Enlightened Being. Making effort to live consciously is the only possibility. Unless you start realizing and start searching for your soul, the game of life will be challenging, never ending, problematic, and regretting experience. If you are purely materialistic in life then you will be left thirsty, insatiated, unsatisfied, confused, bewildered and thoughts of suicidal tendency are bound to come at the end of your lifetime.
Spirituality helps you to focus your life on only one purpose that is to know who you really are. It is purely an private and internal journey into ones being to find out the core essence of ones being which is deeply embedded inside each and every one of us without exception -The Soul.
